Police FC picked up their second title of the Commando Lao Division 1 in two years this week after finishing top of the table with two points ahead of second-placed Elephants FC.
The Commando Lao Division 1 is participated by the second teams of the Lao Premier League including several others to make it a twelve-team league.
And after 22 matches, Police FC emerged victorious with 56 points from 18 wins, two draws, and two defeats.
Elephants FC came in second with 54 points from 17 wins, three draws and two losses as Army FC settled for third with 47 points.
For the effort, Police FC won30,000,000KIPS (USD 3,400) as champions while Elephants FC picked up 20,00,000KIPS (USD 2,260) and Army FC, 10,000,000KIPS (USD 1,130).
Trinity FC and KPS FC are the two teams at the bottom of the standings with KPS also picking up the Fair Play Awards.
Phattavy Thongdavong from Vientiane Capital FC emerged as the tournament’s top scorer with 29 goals.
