The FA of Indonesia (PSSI) have set new head coach Simon McMenemy the target of winning the AFF Cup 2020.
The Scotsman has also been tasked with ensuring that Indonesia break into the top 120 in the world rankings by the end of 2020.
“His (McMenemy) target for this year would be to improve on Indonesia’s world rankings. Where by the end of 2020, we would be breaking into the top 120,” said Ratu Tisha Destria, the General Secretary of PSSI.
“In 2020, his aim would be to lift the AFF Cup”
Indonesia are currently ranked 159.
McMenemy has also been tasked with qualifying into the second round of both the AFC Asia Cup 2023 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
