ALL 26 WTCR CARS AVAILABLE ON RACEROOM
The cars of the 26 all-season drivers competing in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO are now available on RaceRoom. The free-to-play racing simulation for PC, RaceRoom has created online versions of all WTCR / OSCARO cars, including the new-for-2019 Lynk & Co 03 TCR, while seven tracks featuring in this year’s calendar are also featured on RaceRoom, such as the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife and Sepang International Circuit, venue of the season-finale. TASSI SHOWS WTCR WINNING TOUCH
Attila Tassi has what it takes to win in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO. That’s the view of his KCMG team after the 20-year-old dropped out while leading Race 3 at WTCR Race of Portugal in Vila Real.The Hungarian was making full use of his DHL Pole Position, only for a spark plug issue to force his retirement and hand top spot and the eventual win to home hero and Tassi’s Honda-powered KCMG team-mate Tiago Monteiro. WTCR’S LEUCHTER WINS AT THE RING…AGAIN!
Benjamin Leuchter has been winning again on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. After claiming the Race 3 victory at WTCR Race of Germany, which took place at the legendary venue last month, Leuchter took his Max Kruse Racing Volkswagen Golf GTi TCR to first in class and P24 overall in last weekend’s fourth round of the VLN Endurance Championship, the Adenauer Rundstrecken-Trophy. HUFF LEADS VOLKSWAGEN-POWERED SCORERS IN WTCR
Rob Huff was the top Volkswagen-powered scorer when the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO stopped off in Vila Real earlier this month. He placed fourth in Race 1, seventh in Race 2 and fifth in Race 3 to land a total of 36 points in his SLR VW Motorsport Golf GTI TCR. The Briton heads into the summer break P13 in the standings.
