The withdrawal of Australia has led to a re-drawing of the AFF HDBank Futsal Championship 2017 which will now be held on 26 October to 3 November 2017.
The venue of the tournament will still be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
With the absence of Australia, nine teams will be divided into two groups where they will be looking to win the four available places to the AFC Futsal Championship in 2018.
The AFF HDBank Championship is the official qualifiers for the AFC meet.
Given the quality of the matches that was shown at the recent SEA Games 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, the Futsal tournament this time round will not be short of excitement as several teams have demonstrated marked improvements.
