REST IN PEACE. FAM media officer Joe Marcose passed away early this morning.
THE Malaysian football fraternity suffered a loss this morning following the demise of the Football Association Malaysia (FAM) media officer Joe Marcose.
A dedicated servant to local sports since 1982, Joe was unwavering in his dedication to his job, serving as Olympic Council Malaysia’s (OCM) media officer, before taking up the same post with FAM in 2011.
Joe was not only faithful in his servitude to sports, his love and conviction for God knew no boundaries.
A pastor and a devout Christian, Joe was always full of praise for the almighty and never ceased to hail his Creator, even after he had undergone a major brain surgery to remove a tumour back in 2012.
His departure certainly leaves a hole in Malaysian football, especially to members of the media who were all fond of him.

* The church service for Pastor Joe Marcose will be held at Grace Church 6 Jalan Persiaran Petaling, Sekysen 28 Taman Alam Megah. Service is at 8.30 pm tonight.
The funeral will be held at 10am tomorrow morning.
