The Royal Selangor Club established since the year 1884 once again proudly host the 9th Inter-Club Invitational Darts Tournament starting from 12th October 2018 till 14th October 2018.
The team captains/managers meeting to be held on 12th October 2018 @ 7pm in Royal Selangor Clubâs Presidents Room at Dataran Merdeka.
This event is one of the most important events in the club calendar and has been held since the year 2009 in the Royal Selangor Club.
The annual tournament hosted by the Royal Selangor Club has gained in popularity and grown from an initial participation of 12 teams from Peninsular Malaysiaâs registered sports & social clubs to 32 participating teams from as far as East Malaysia & Singapore.
The annual darts tournament is played by a team of 5 male players and also attracts many female players who participate in the ladies singleâs championship which has attracted more than 30 players this year.
The tournament starts on 13th October 2018 @ 10am with the qualifying round and ends on 14th October 2018 with teams qualifying to winners and plate pools as well as Ladies single championship.
The organising committee has allocated a total of RM11,000 as prize money for winning teams at various levels of winning, including novelty prizes to be won by participating teams.Â
RSC Darts Section Convener S. Raj Selvalingam said: “The section gets a lot of encouragement and support from the President, Vice President, Sports Chairman and The General Committee to make this event a memorable event. I also taking this opportunity to thank the section members, Sponsors and the organising committee.
“The tournament is a much looked forward by club darters and has been getting very competitive over the years. We expect an exciting and challenging tournament this year with many top darters in the country competing.”Â
