A delegation of 30 members of the Sportswriters Association of Malaysia (SAM) paid a visit to the venues of the SUKMA 2014 which will be hosted by Perlis this year.
The 17th edition of the SUKMA will be held in Malaysia’s smallest state of Perlis on 24 May to 4 June.
The delegation which comprised of almost all sections of the Malaysian media industries, was led by president Ahmad Khawari Isa as well as several members of the Exco.
“We paid a visit to several venues including the Main Press Centre, the Main Stadium and also the venues for pencak silat and boxing,” said Ahmad Khawari.
“There were some shortcomings for sure as it is in past SUKMA but we hope that these facilities and services will be ready in time when the Games open next month.”
