KANGAR – Sarawak concluded their campaign here with a blast when they bagged the last two gold medals on offer in Sukma Perlis.
Jackelyn Ng and Jonathan Ding Sagan swept the men’s and women’s Masters finals at the Kayangan Square Mall Bowling Centre. The bowling finals concluded early this morning.
In the men’s step ladder finals, Jonathan downed 424 pins against Kedah’s Ahmad Muaz Mohd Fishol who managed 389. Jackelyn meanwhile knocked down 434 pins to defeat Radin Nur Najwa Arifah Radin Dzulfakar, who scored 363 pinfalls.
With the last two golds, Sarawak, who will be the hosts in 2016, amassed a total of 48 gold medals here to finish third overall. Wilayah collected 55 golds to win with Terengganu’s coming in second with 51 golds.
