Lebanese striker Mohammad Ghaddar was on fire as Kelantan roared to a come-from-behind 4-2 win over Perak in Super League’s biggest upset on Wednesday.

The night belonged to the Lebanese hitman after the homesters, who sacked German coach Karl Weigang and replaced by Australian Mehmet Durakovic, when he found the night in the 38th, 83rd and 87th minutes after Bulgarian striker opened scoring for Perak in the Vladislav Marchev on 17 minutes. He added a second for Perak in injury time.

Kelantan’s Perak-born Indra Putra Mahayuddin scored Kelantan’s fourth goal also in injury time for Red Warriors for their third win in six matches.

Felda United, another team with a new coach – B. Satianathan – at the helm, drew 0-0 with T-Team at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium in Kuala Terengganu.

Penang are still winless after seven matches despite an improved showing in their 1-1 draw against Malacca United at the State Stadium in Batu Kawan.

The biggie of the night was at the Selayang Stadium as Selangor scored a late, late goal for a 1-1 draw against Kedah – a result which denied the Red Eagles from reclaiming their place at the top of the league.

Pahang kept their place at the top with 16 points following their 3-0 win over PKNS FC at home a day earlier. Kedah are second with 15 points while Selangor are third on 12 points.

Timor Leste’s Julian Mineiro was on target with his spot kick deep into injury time after Kedah defender Akram Mahinan was hauled up for a foul on Selangor’s Syahmi Safari. It proved costly for the Red Eagles.

Penang earned their first point in the Super League this season – thanks to Brazilian Reinaldo Lobo who scored in the 88th minute. Malacca took the lead after five minutes through Ahmad Khuzaimie.
