Former Singapore striker V. Selvaraj will lead the Laos national Under-15 team for the AFF U15 Boy’s Championship that will start next week in Chonburi, Thailand.
The 50-year-old was appointed to the position of head coach last month and where he has been busy preparing the squad for the annual championship that brings the best youth footballers from across the region together.
Laos, who has spent the last several weeks together, will be eager to put up an improved performance under the guidance of the former Garena Young Lions tactician.
For the AFF U15 Boy’s meet, Laos have been placed in Group B against hosts Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Brunei DS and Australia.
They will open their campaign on 28 July 2019 against hosts Thailand at the Institute of Physical Education in Chonburi.
Group A defending champions Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam, Timor Leste, Singapore and the Philippines.
