Finland’s Elias Seppanen bounced back to snatch the final race of the FIA Formula 4 SEA Championship – fueled by Petron at the Sepang International Circuit today.
The 16-year-old Seppanen, who had to withdraw at the end of the second lap of Race 3 earlier this afternoon due to technical reasons, rebounded to claim Race 4 in 18 minutes 46.542 seconds.
And once again, Sami Meguetounif recorded his third second-placed finish in a row, 0.546s behind with Frederico Peters of Portugal finishing third in 18:54.780s.
Seppanen, winner of the first race on Friday, was naturally happy with the win as he had to fend off challenges from a determined Meguetounif in wet conditions.
“Of course, I am happy to win the race, considering it was not an easy afternoon especially as everyone was at the top of their game,” said Seppanen.
