A win is a win and PSM Makassar head coach Robert Alberts said this week in the Go-Jek Liga One 2018 that he will take it any day even through the set pieces.

PSM had avoided defeats in the last two matches through excellent set pieces against Madura United and then Persipura.

And this week against Persebaya Surabaya, it was off another corner kick that was nodded home by Rizky Pellu that did the trick as PSM picked up the full points to be on top of the Go-Jek Liga One 2018.

“Winning through set pieces is good enough,” quipped Robert afterwards.

With the win, PSK Makassar have picked up 24 points from 13 matches played – a point ahead of second placed Barito Putera, who beat Sriwijaya 3-1 this week.

Elsewhere, Bali United handed Persipura Jayapura a 2-0 defeat as Persijja Jakarta blasted PS Tira 5-0 on the road.

Defending champions Bhayangkara United beat Madura United 1-0, Persela Lamongan edged Mitra Kukar 3-1, Arema FC beat Perseru Serui 1-0.

PSIS Semarang got the better off Pusamania Borneo 1-0 and Persib Bandung won over PSMS Medan away 3-0.
