Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) will take on Becamex Bình Duong in the final of the National Cup 2017.
In the semi-finals, SLNA beat Quang Nam 7-4 on aggregate while Binh Duong edged SHB Da Nang 5-2 on aggregate.
Playing away to Quang Nam was no deterrent to SLNA when they found the lead through Nigerian striker Olaha Michael in the 27th minute as Kovacevic Claudecir then levelled the score with a penalty just two minutes after the break.
But SLNA went in front again just three minutes later off Danko as Quang Nam then found the second equaliser off Phan Thanh Hung’s header ten minutes to the end.
A late strike from substitute striker Ho Phuc T?nh gave SLNA their third goal before Nguyen Van Hau slammed in late for the 3-3 draw.
In the meantime, Becamex Binh Duong had a strike from Nguyen Anh Duc to thank for their win over Da Nang.
Earlier, Da Nang had grabbed the opener through Do Merlo in the 21st minute before To Van Vu cancelled it out just seven minutes later.
The final of the National Cup will be played over two legs – on 25 and 30 November 2017.
