TERENGGANU retained their place at the top of the Super League with a 3-0 win over Armed Forces.
Goals by Abdul Manaf Mamat, Mohd Norfarhan Mohamed and Mohd Faiz Zubir gave the Turtles a comfortable win for their fifth win in eight matches for 16 points.
Next comes Pahang and third-placed Selangor, who defeated PKNS and Sarawak 3-1 and 2-0 respectively.
Terengganu and Selangor also have a game in hand.
Selangor tamed the Crocs in Kuching with goals by Indonesian hot-shot Andik Vermansah in the 25th minute and A. Thamil Arasu on 52 minutes
At the Sultan Mohd IV Stadium in Kota Baru, Johor Darul Takzim snatched a 2-1 win over the Red Warriors. Former JDT player Nazri Ahmad was the culprit in Kelantan’s defeat.
He failed to stop Amri Yahyah on the right in the 33rd minute and the national striker whipped in a low drive into the far corner which neutralised Kelantan’s 17th minute lead through their Lebanese striker Mohammad Ghaddar.
Nazri was for the winner in the 88th minute. He conceded needless thrown in, then failed to clear the ball which allowed Luciano Figuero to supply a cross to substitute Fazly Mazlan to first time the ball into the net.
The win left the Southern Tigers fourth with 14 points.
In Kuala Terengganu, T-Team stunned Sime Darby with a 2-0 win with under-fire Brazilian striker Evaldo Goncalves and Marzuki Yusof getting their names into the scoresheet in the 25th and 71 minutes respectively.
