Thai Son Nam picked up the double in Futsal when they won the National Futsal Cup to add to the league title they won earlier in the year.
Overwhelming favourites Thai Son Nam which featured a handful of Vietnam national team stars, were never in danger of slipping this one against Hai Phuong Nam when they beat the latter 2-1 in the final at the Da Nang’s Tien Son Sports Palace.
Thai Son Nam grabbed the opener after ten minutes through Dac Huy before Tran Danh Phat added the second goal in the second half.
The resulting power play from Hai Phuong Nam for Than Phat to score but that failed to spark a revival.
Thai Son Nam took home their second National Cup trophy and a bonus of VND100 million (US$4,500).
