Thailand beat Indonesia in ASEAN Women’s Futsal; host Philippines held

Thailand picked up their first win in the ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship 2024 with a close 1-0 win over Indonesia as host Philippines were held to a 2-2 draw by Myanmar.Following the first-half deadlock, Thailand finally broke through in the 36^th minute when Darika Peanpailun slotted home for the lead and what turned out to be the winner.In the meantime, the Philippines started brightly, taking the lead after eight minutes through Isabella Bandoja, before Myanmar replied through Lwin Lwin Thet in the 22^nd minute.Yoon Mie Mie Lwin then gave Myanmar the advantage in the 32^nd minute, but the Philippines forced the 2-2 draw through Agot Danton’s finish a minute later. #AFF#PFF#FutsalThailand
