Thailand-Vietnam final in ASEAN Women’s Futsal

Thailand will take on Vietnam in the final of the ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship 2024 at the PhilSports Arena tomorrow.

Thailand took top spot at the end of the preliminary round of the championship after beating Vietnam 3-0 in the final game of the round robin stage.

The goals for Thailand were scored by Jenjira Bubpha in the 15^th minute, Sangrawee Meekham (17^th) and Arriya Saetoen (26^th).

In the meantime, Indonesia beat host Philippines 2-1 to finish third in the round robin stage.

Indonesia’s goals were scored by Alya Ananda Hendrita in the seventh minute and Nisma Francida Rusdiana (39^th) as Philippines replied through Isabella Marie Bandajo in the 12^th minute.

With the result, Indonesia will take on Myanmar in the classification third and fourth placing match as the Philippines are left out.
