Throughout my stays over many years, I have always enjoyed the warmest of welcomes and a depth of understanding and friendliness unmatched almost anywhere else in the world. This time was no exception and kI was honoured to be able to show my appreciation in the best possible way by winning the Maybank Malaysian Open.
Recent times have not been easy ones for your country, but i was amazed at the resilience and strength of everybody I came into contact with while the generosity of Maybank and the professionalism of GlobalOne did much to show the spirit of Malaysia in its true colours.
I am delighted to be able to dedicate my triumph to you and i look forward to re-igniting my passion for your culture, food, personalities and golf courses on my next visit.
