Hanoi scored a thumping win in their opening match of Group A of the Vietnam National Women’s Football Cup this week when they smashed Son La 7-0.
Captain Ph?m Hai Yen achieved a personal best when she blasted in four goals past her hapless opponents.
It took Hanoi just seven minutes to open account with Hai Yen finishing from close as she then completed her four goals in a five-minute blitz.
With Son La having to play it defensive without any real chance of moving forward, Kim Anh then added the fifth goal in the 75th minute as Nguyen Th? Nga and Nguyen Th? Hoa then rounded things off right at the end.
It was another big win in a Group B tie with Phong Phu Ha Nam blanking TNG Thai Nguyen 5-0.
Do Th? Nguyen nailed the opene after just four minutes as Nguyen Th? Tuyet Dung doubled it ten minutes later.
Nguyen Th? Quynh added the third after 25 minutes with Tuyet Dung grabbing a double and Thanh Huong finishing it six minutes to the end.
