Barring any other issues, Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim will be announced as the new President of the FA of Malaysia (FAM) in two days.
Tunku Ismail is the owner of JDT.
Following the announcement by Tan Sri Annuar Musa – the only other candidate for the top post – of his withdrawal this morning, the stage is set for TMJ as Tunku Ismail is more known as to take over from Tengku Abdullah Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah.
Annuar said at a special Press Conference at the Malaysian Parliament today that his withdrawal was motivated by the need to concentrate on his constituency of Keterah as well as developing football further in Kelantan.
The FAM Congress will be held on 25 March 2017 in Kuala Lumpur.
