A two minute blitz right at the end saw Laos scoring a morale boosting 2-1 win over Sri Lanka in a friendly that was played last night at the Laos National Stadium.
But head coach V. Sundramoorthy must have had to endure some anxious moments in the encounter which saw the visiting Sri Lankans scoring the early goal just twelfth minute in through Faizal Mohamed Aakib.
However Laos kept up the pressure on the visitors to score the equalizer off Khitsakhone Champathong in the 86th minute.
A minute later, substitute Vannasone Doungmaity nailed the second goal for the homesters that turned out to be the winner.
