The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) have extended the contract of their Technical Director Juergen Gede for a further two years.
The 62-year-old German was first signed in August 2016.
Thus far, Gede has helped Vietnam secure a place at the FIFA U20 World Cup 2018 where he had also assisted the team’s success at the recent AFC U23 Championship in China in January, where Vietnam finished as runners-up.
His next assignment would be for Vietnam’s participation at the Asian Games 2018, AFF Suzuki Cup 2018 and also the SEA Games 2019.
