The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) are set to appoint Park Hang Seo of South Korea as the new head coach of the Vietnam national men’s team.
The 58-year-old coach Hang Seo will also take charge of the Vietnam Under-23 team with the official contract to be signed next month.
Hang Seo was an assistant to Guus Hiddink for South Korea’s campaign at the FIFA World Cup in 1994 and 2002.
He had also coached the South Korean U23 team to a bronze medal at the Asian Games in Busan, South Korea in 2002.
