QNET-Selangor Hockey League Week 2 brought the crowds out as 13 matches were completed with 88 goals scored.
UiTM open their defense of the Division 1 title by beating Dolphins Young Guns 4-2.
The Navy team gave the defending champions a scare as they came from 2 goals down to level the game on the 50th minute. UiTM regrouped and went on the attacked scoring 2 goals in the last 3 minutes to win 4-2
X-Matrixs lead by National Captain Razie Abdul Rahim had a rude shock when they lost their opening match on Saturday 3-2 to the Navy team but put up a better performance on Sunday as the clawed back form 4-1 down to hold OLAK-PKT to a 5-5 draw.
In Division 2A PAUiTM continued their winning way as they trashed PDRM 7-1 while Highlander Hockey Club edged Synergy Hockey Club 3-1. Meanwhile in Division 2B Permatang Senior beat KIE Hockey 6-1 for their second
successive victory.
The schools boys division kicked off with SMK Pusat Bdr Puchong easily beat SMK Bandar Seri Putra 7-0 and now have set their sights to capture the Schools Boys Division Title, in another match SMK Puchong BT.14 beat
SMK Sg Pusu 4-2.
The coming Oct 3 & 4 will see a total 19 matches being played and will include the women’s division matches kicking off .
