Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) have opted for a youthful squad ahead of the Toyota V.League 2018 which starts in a few days.
The oldest player in the squad is goalkeeper Pham Van Tien at 24-years-old while striker Dinh Thanh Binh is the youngest at 19-years-old.
Both foreign players – midfielder Kim Jin-seo of South Korea and striker Romario Gordon of Jamaica – are 24-years-old.
“HAGL have many national team players. Technical director Chung Hae-soung aims to earn a high place in this year’s event and triumph in the next year’s tournament. But when the chance comes to us, we will make the most of it to win,” said HAGL president Doan Nguyen Duc.
HAGL’s first match of the season will be against former champions Becamex Binh Duong on 10 March 10 at the Pleiku Stadium in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai.
