Myanmar head coach Gerd Zeise is confident of walking away with the points ahead of the team’s clash against India in the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers later today at the Thuwunna Stadium.
With controversial striker Kyaw Ko Ko back in the squad and following their 3-1 win over Indonesia last week, Zeise said that his confidence stems from having watched the game between India and Cambodia on the weekend which the former won 3-1.
“I’m satisfied with the current squad’s performance. I have chance to watch the India-Cambodia game. I know the weak points of India and this will benefit of our team,” said Zeise.
“I know our defense have some of weak points. If our players can focused the whole match, we’ll get the win. We need minimum 10 points to qualify and we will treat every game like a final.”
Myanmar are in Group A of the qualifiers against India, Kyrgyzstan and Macau.
